We’ve got a great new strawberry recipe for you to try this weekend, and as promised, it is a savory one. We have taken flatbread, layered it with creamy brie, prosciutto, and sweet, juicy strawberries, then grilled it to perfection. We followed it up with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and a handful of arugula, and you’ve got the perfect summer appetizer.
Ready in 20 minutes; Serves 4 as an appetizer
To make this recipe you’ll need:
- 1- 7 ounce flatbread
- 4 ounces brie, thinly sliced
- 4 slices prosciutto
- ½ cup strawberries, thinly sliced
- ½ cup arugula
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
Preheat your grill to 450℉. While the grill is heating, assemble the flatbread. Place the sliced brie on the flatbread, followed by the prosciutto and the strawberries. Place the flatbread on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the bread is slightly charred and the cheese has melted. Remove the flatbread from the grill and slice into 8 pieces. Top with the arugula and drizzle with the balsamic glaze.
*Note: The flatbread can also be made in a 450℉ oven.
