Pita Chips w/ Zucchini Tzatziki Sauce

Who doesn’t love some good pita chips dipped into an amazing dip? Dare to make your own pita chips!

Ready in 30 minutes – Serves 8

To make this recipe you’ll need:

For the pita chips:

  • 3 pitas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt

For the tzatziki sauce:

  • 1 cup of creme fraiche or natural greek yogurt
  • ½ cup shredded zucchini
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Warm the oven to 375 F

Slice the pitas into small triangles, and lay them on a lined baking sheet. Brush some olive oil on them and sprinkle some salt. Put in the oven and cook for 30 –  45 minutes.

In the meantime get to preparing the dip. Mix all the ingredients for the dip together, taste and add more salt if needed and done.

Pull the pita chips out of the oven and let them cool completely before serving.

Useful Tips:

  • Separate the pita triangles to get thinner and crispier chips.
